Looking for where to stay in Hatta for Ultra Trail Dubai 2026? Staying for the weekend can make the race weekend much easier.
You’ll be closer to the race village, won’t need to make the early drive from Dubai, and will have somewhere nearby to shower, eat, and put your feet up once you’re off the trails. If you’re taking on one of the longer distances, that extra time in bed may be reason enough.
Ultra Trail Dubai takes place from 27 to 29 November 2026, with the race village at Hatta Wadi Hub. Accommodation and hotels in Hatta ranges from hotel rooms and mountain lodges to private villas, caravans and campsites. The best option depends on how close you want to be, who you’re travelling with and how much comfort you’ll want before and after your run.
Here’s where to stay in Hatta for the weekend grouped by their proximity to the race village.

Your start time
Ultra Trail Dubai 2026 takes place across three days, and start times vary by distance. Work backwards from the time you need to arrive at the Race Village, then allow time for parking, walking, bag drop and any final preparations. You can also arrive a day before to make everything easier.
Breakfast and food
If you have an early start, ask whether breakfast can be provided before you leave. A self-catering villa can make this easier, but only if you bring what you need. Don’t leave finding your usual pre-run breakfast until the morning.
Transport and parking
Accomdation and hotel in Hatta is spread across the area, and a car is the simplest way to get around. If you’re staying with a group, agree on transport before the weekend and make sure the vehicle has space for everyone and their kit.
Check-in and check-out
Your running schedule may not line up neatly with standard hotel timings. This matters even more for anyone taking on a longer distance or the overnight Team Shootout. Ask about late check-out or luggage storage before booking, rather than waiting until you arrive.
Space for your group
For villas and farm stays, check the number of actual beds, bathrooms and parking spaces. “Sleeps ten” could include sofa beds or shared rooms, which may not be what everyone wants before a long day on the trails.
Make a Weekend of It
Staying in Hatta gives you more than a shorter journey to the Race Village. It gives you time to settle in, experience the atmosphere across the weekend and recover without facing a long drive back to Dubai immediately after your run.
Whether that means a room at a hotel, a villa shared with your team or a tent close to the action, book the stay that makes your weekend simpler.
Then you can focus on the part you came for: the trails.
