29.2 To continue racing, a Participant must depart an Aid Station before the designated cut-off time at that checkpoint, regardless of arrival time.
29.3 Participants who miss a cut-off must comply immediately with the instructions of marshals. Failure to obey is a disqualification offence. Participants may be removed from the course by sweep vehicles.
30.1 A Participant needing to withdraw must proceed to the nearest Aid Station along the marked course and notify the Aid Station Captain.
30.2 A Participant who is unable to continue unaided must remain on the marked course, stay warm and visible, and trigger the MYSOS emergency function (see Clause 31). The medical team will communicate their status to Race HQ.
30.3 Any Participant who leaves the marked course without notifying race officials will be treated as missing. Search & Rescue protocols will be activated and the Participant will be banned from all future WIE events.
30.4 WIE will provide a shuttle service from Aid Stations to the finish area. Service frequency cannot be guaranteed.
